Nomi Product Update – 08/08/2023
Greetings, Nomi enthusiasts! Welcome to another week of fresh product enhancements. Our team’s been burning the midnight oil to amplify Nomi’s efficiency and user experience. Dive in and discover what’s new!
Here’s what’s new in Nomi this week:
8827 – CRM – Change the default task management view to ‘My Pending Tasks’: We determined the default view that users wanted to see whenever visiting the module was always their own, open tasks and what they needed to work on.
9064 – CRM – Add another signature field within the contract: When a personal guarantee is required, we are not requesting the individual to sign the contract in addition to the entity.
9097 – Final Accounts – Update to grammar if an entity has a single director or multiple: Nomi now correctly changes the grammar if there are multiple directors within an entity.
8889 – Final Accounts – Add ‘Company District’ and ‘UTR Number’ to the final accounts dashboard: We decided these were too hard to find and hidden within ‘CT Adjustments’ and wanted to make them easily accessible now you can simply select ‘Edit’ on company details:
9136 – Payroll – Employer-approved leave non-editable: We fixed this bug so that accountants and business users can delete any leave that has been entered into the payroll module.
6848 – Bookkeeping – Invoice footer partially cut-off when displayed over two lines: The footer spacing has been corrected and the issue where it was partially cut-off the end of the page should no longer occur.
8934 – Self-assessment – Update to user interface around linked modules: Any data that has been linked with another module will not be greyed-out and displayed as clearly non-editable.
7608 – Bookkeeping – Add CIS column to expense dashboard: Instead of going into each individual expense to see if CIS is applicable, you can now see directly from the dashboard, which will also be displayed within any export files.
7468 – Bookkeeping – Display additional notes on credit note: Any additional notes added within the credit note creation or edit process will now be displayed on the credit note PDF or word document it creates.

Recognizing that director salaries are often set at the tax-efficient national insurance threshold, we’ve optimized Nomi to handle such regularities.
With this innovative feature, say goodbye to the monthly grind! Nomi not only runs the payroll but also efficiently files it with HMRC. But that’s not all! Payslips are automatically dispatched, and the necessary journal entries? Consider them posted in the bookkeeping.
