Limelight Accountancy

Limelight was started in 1993 as a family-run business, to provide accountancy services to smaller businesses. Sumit Agarwal was appointed Managing Director after Limelight became a subsidiary of DNS Associates in 2016.

Until recently most mainstream accountancy firms were only interested in larger audit clients. We saw there was a niche for accountants specialising in small owner-managed businesses – sole traders, partnerships, or small limited companies.

Building up our own firm has given us practical insight into what it’s like to start and run a small business. We know what you’re going through, as we’ve experienced it ourselves.
