Nomi’s October 2024 Product Updates
In October 2024, Nomi introduced exciting updates across its products, enhancing ease and functionality for users in accounting, payroll, final accounts, and self-assessment. For bookkeeping, new drag-and-drop and client-specific module selection features streamline document handling and navigation, while payroll benefits from flexible leave entitlement for hourly pay types. Final accounts now include seamless email attachments, direct CT journal posting, and improved e-sign date accuracy. Self-assessment updates enhance tooltips and dashboard usability with drag-and-drop functionality. These enhancements empower users to work more efficiently and precisely, making financial management smoother than ever.
Bookkeeping
- Drag and Drop feature: It is for attaching documents enhances user experience by allowing seamless integration of files into the Nomi. This intuitive method simplifies the process of document management, saving time and reducing the potential for errors.
- Client and module selection: This feature on each screen provides a streamlined workflow, ensuring that users can easily navigate through different functionalities tailored to specific clients or tasks. Payroll
- Leave Entitlement Hours Option for Hourly Pay Types: We have added a leave entitlement Hours option for Hourly pay types, allowing users to choose whether to calculate leave entitlement for each specific hourly pay type. This is great improvements for employers as previously the system calculated holiday entitlement for all hourly pay types by default, now user can simply check or uncheck the option as needed.
Final Accounts
- Additional Attachment Option in Email: The newly added attachment option in the email section provides users with enhanced flexibility for sharing files with clients. Users can now easily upload an additional file (up to 4 MB) alongside the existing attachment feature in Nomi. This improvement streamlines workflows and simplifies the file-sharing process. With a user-friendly interface that supports drag-and-drop functionality, attaching files has never been such easier, fostering better communication. Overall, this update significantly enhances the email experience, making file sharing more efficient and effective.
- Streamlined CT Journals: Introducing Direct Posting from Computation – With this new feature, users can now post the corporation tax journal directly from the CT computation page in the Final Accounts module. The system automatically generates the journal based on the computed corporation tax due, allowing users to simply review and confirm the entry. Once confirmed, the system posts the CT journal seamlessly. This enhancement results in a more efficient and effective process for managing corporation tax journals, streamlining workflows, and reducing the potential for errors, improving the overall user experience.
- Enhancing E-Sign to Improve Document Accuracy: Input Signing Dates During E-Sign – This new feature enables users to input the signing date for both Financial Accounts (FA) and Corporation Tax (CT) during the e-sign process. By allowing clients to specify the date, the system automatically updates the signing date in reports within Nomi, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the client’s input. This enhancement simplifies the workflow, providing a more tailored experience and improving the integrity of the documents. Users can now easily track signing dates, making the reporting process more efficient and reliable. Overall, this feature contributes to better document management and client satisfaction.
Self-Assessment
- Enhanced Tooltips for SA Individual Clients: Improved tooltip size provides clearer, more accessible information for Self-Assessment individual type linked clients, enhancing usability and reducing navigation effort for users.
- Drag and Drop Functionality for SA and PTR Dashboards: The new drag-and-drop feature allows users to easily manage tasks and items on the Self-Assessment (SA) and PTR dashboards. This intuitive enhancement simplifies workflow, improves user experience, and saves time by making dashboard interactions more seamless and efficient.
