Upgraded email templates, improved front-end performance, and much more in our July 2024 updates. Nomi’s final accounts, bookkeeping, payroll and self-assessment software now offers enhanced features to make your communication more effective and task navigation more efficient. Final Accounts

Including CT600 C Form in Email Communications and Document Attachments

We’ve included the CT600C form in Email Communications, enabling users to send the document via email and schedule emails. Additionally, after a successful CT600 submission to HMRC, the form will be automatically saved in the attachments on the documents page. This update streamlines the submission process, ensuring easy access and efficient email management for users.

Validation of Profit/Loss Ratio Before Finalising Period for LLP Businesses

We’ve added a confirmation validation to ensure the profit/loss ratio is updated before locking or closing the accounting period in the Final Account module. Validating the profit/loss ratio before closing the financial period for an LLP is crucial for accurate reporting and legal compliance. This step helps identify discrepancies, enhances financial transparency, and supports informed business decisions. This proactive measure promotes better financial health and operational efficiency.

Nomi’s Email Template System

We’ve made some important updates to the email template system in Nomi, designed to enhance your user experience and streamline your communication processes.

Here’s what’s new:

New Templates Added

• Supplier Statement Template: Keep your suppliers informed with customised statements.
• Quote Template: Create professional quotes effortlessly.
• Credit Note Template: Send credit notes with ease and accuracy.

Enhanced User Experience:

Email template is now more intuitive and simple to use. You can now:

• Add Multiple Templates: Customise and save multiple templates for each type (Invoice, Statement, Quotes and Credit Notes).
• Send Directly from Nomi: Seamlessly send your customised templates directly to your customers and suppliers from within Nomi.

These improvements are designed to help you manage your communications more effectively, saving your time and ensuring a professional presentation.

Payroll

SMP/SSP/SPP Overwrite Options

Previously, when businesses migrated from another software and employees had SMP/SSP/SPP, they wanted to match the payment schedule from the previous software. However, users did not have the option to edit the already calculated SMP amounts. Now users can overwrite the SMP, SPP and SSP amount. This will help our clients when they migrate from other software to Nomi.

Alert for Off-Worker Employees

We have implemented an alert for businesses with off-worker employees. This alert notifies users that the contributions from off-worker employees towards employer NIC will not be adjusted against the Employment allowances.
